I am a Certified Financial Planner – CFP® which is considered the highest professional designation in financial planning. I have also completed my Diploma in Financial Planning and the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
I have been working in the financial services industry for more than 17 years, out of which I worked as a Financial Adviser for 6 years and as an Associate Adviser for 4 years before that.
Apart from formal personal advice, I believe there is a space for financial literacy. I want to educate my readers on the fundamentals and break down the financial jargon that is so widespread in this industry. In my years as a financial adviser, I often came across clients who were not ready for advice (or those who were on the brink of a large tax bill).
